Who You Are

We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join the Critical Start Technologies Private Ltd. team, operating under the Critical Start umbrella, for our India operations. As a Senior Technical Recruiter specializing in cybersecurity, you will play a crucial role in building our team of skilled professionals to drive our mission forward. You will be responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process, from candidate sourcing to onboarding, with a primary focus on identifying top talent in the cybersecurity field.

 

This role requires passion, drive, organization, and an incredible ability to find the very best talent in the cybersecurity industry. The ideal candidate will understand the unique position recruiting has in our organization’s success and enjoy partnering with hiring managers to attract and acquire a highly talented and diverse workforce. What You Will Be Doing?

  • Proactive Candidate Sourcing:
    • Leverage various sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, job boards, social media, boolean searches, and professional networks, to identify and engage top cybersecurity talent.
    • Aim to proactively source a minimum of 20 qualified candidates per week across all open positions.
  • Screening and Assessment:
    • Conduct initial outreach to sourced candidates and review applications to assess qualifications, experience, and alignment with the role.
    • Provide candidates with insights into the company, culture, and position.
    • Perform structured screenings to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit based on predefined recruiting scorecards.
    • You will be expected to complete a minimum of three recruiter video interviews per day to maintain an efficient hiring process.
  • Interview Scheduling and Coordination: 
    • Collaborate with the HR Executive to manage interview logistics, including scheduling, coordination with hiring teams, and ensuring a seamless interview experience.
    • Provide candidates and interviewers with all necessary details to facilitate a smooth interview process.
  • Stakeholder and Candidate Relationship Management: 
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
    • Lead a weekly stakeholder meeting with global and local hiring managers to provide updates on candidate pipelines and hiring progress.
  • Pipeline & ATS Management:
    • Maintain an organized and up-to-date applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Regularly update candidate statuses, communicate progress with hiring teams, and ensure timely follow-ups.
    • Prioritize reviewing employee referrals and ensure all applicants receive a status update within three weeks of applying.
  • Collaboration & Advisory:
    • Work closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to refine job requirements, define role specifications, and advise on key competencies for evaluation.
    • Act as a trusted recruitment partner to optimize hiring strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Process Improvement & Strategy: 
    • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in talent acquisition.
    • Proactively address potential bottlenecks and collaborate with the Manager, Talent Acquisition to optimize recruitment strategies.
  • Market Research & Talent Insights:
    • Stay informed about cybersecurity industry trends, competitor hiring practices, and evolving market dynamics to refine recruitment strategies and position the company competitively in talent acquisition.
  • Compliance & Ethical Hiring Practices:
    • Ensure all recruitment activities align with legal requirements, data privacy regulations, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing recruitment practices.
  • Technology & AI Adoption:
    • Demonstrate a curiosity for leveraging AI-driven recruitment tools and automation to enhance efficiency, streamline sourcing, and improve overall hiring effectiveness. 
  • Proactive & Autonomous Mentality: 
    • The ability to consistently meet SLAs by ensuring timely candidate sourcing, screening, and communication with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders to drive efficiency and accuracy throughout the recruitment process.

What You Will Bring?

Required Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting, with a focus on cybersecurity roles.
  • Proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify and engage with passive candidates in the cybersecurity field.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, track applicant status, and ensure data integrity.
  • Previous experience working with global cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and trends, with prior experience recruiting for roles such as Software Engineers, Security Engineers, and Support Engineers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with candidates and stakeholders to drive successful recruitment outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess candidate qualifications and make data-driven recruitment decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure an up-to-date ATS and an efficient, structured interview process. 
  • Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to navigate changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Agency recruitment experience or experience in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting role. 
  • Previous experience with iCIMS ATS for candidate tracking and recruitment workflow management.
