Team Lead - Developer (Integrations team)

We are growing fast, and we are now looking for a Team Lead - Developer for our Integrations team to manage and support our team of developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of engineers, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a culture of excellence.
• Design and implement complex systems with seamless integrations to third-party platforms, contributing to the expansion of WATI's ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product, design, QA, and other stakeholders—to discuss, decide, design, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Harness AI technologies to enhance team efficiency and streamline development processes.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science 
• 5+ years of significant experience as a backend developer with strong ownership (3+ years experience may be sufficient if demonstrated leadership)
• Excellent programming experience with any language, like: C#, .NET Core, Java, Go/Golang and React.js
• Experience with Copilot / Cursor / other AI tools
• Professional in English and the communication skills to effortlessly collaborate with engineers located globally 

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup would be an added advantage

• Experience in leading a small team / projects with results delivered.
