Partner with the best As Cloud Support Engineer for Akatec APJ CSE at Akamai Technologies, you will be responsible for leading the mission-critical, technical service and support for the global online customers. You will be responsible for improving processes, optimizing operations, and continuously improving the metrics which reflect an industry-leading support experience. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Working as a trusted support partner to resolve customer questions and issues. - Providing technical/team leadership and direction to AkaTec organization - Owning the problem resolution and collaborating with internal teams - Leading investigations across Akamai's Distributed Network for optimized performance and delivery for customers - Analyzing existing technical issues across Akamai's Distributed Networks and proposing solutions to prevent issues recurring. Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: - Have 2- 4 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science/Engineering or relevant fields - Have experience providing technical solutions & support to B2B customers - Be well versed in how the internet works, it's underlying protocols with understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TCP. - Have basic knowledge of Linux and/or Unix - Be able to prioritize workload and communicate technical issues to stakeholders of varying technical ability Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
