Join our highly skilled Security team Our team is a part of the Cloud Security Intelligence group. We own one of the largest Big Data environments. The group develops Security infrastructures and Security products for our customers. Partner with the best You will be responsible to ensure optimal performance and up-time of Akamai's critical security products. Analyze system performance end-to-end. Working towards monitoring, alerting, log aggregations process and developing tools for it. You will work with the latest technologies such as Azure, Databricks & more. As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will be responsible for: - Deploying and maintaining the platform and tools used internally - Managing and support the entire system architecture (servers and databases) - Being responsible for the availability of all applications (monitoring) - Developing automation pipelines to support development, testing, and deployment workflows - Collaborating with our support, operations and engineering teams to investigate and troubleshoot complex problems - Improving our system monitoring and analysis platform to speed error detection and remediation, enhancing performance and reliability - Participating in on-call rotations, guiding restoration and repair of service-impacting issues Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: - Have 3-4 years of experience and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field - Demonstrate experience in Linux Infrastructure management and systems administration with Linux. - Have experience with at least one of the cloud vendors - GCP, Azure or AWS. - Have experience with any scripting languages - Python/Go - Have experience with modern container orchestration, such as Kubernetes. - Possess knowledge of software architecture, micro-services, performance considerations and production troubleshooting. - Have experience building, maintaining monitoring and alerting capabilities using tools such as Datadog, Grafana Prometheus, etc. .
