What you’ll be doing:
Operate with a high degree of independence and autonomy to solve ambiguous problems in runtime security and software development infrastructure
Work closely with your peers in Information Security and Infrastructure Engineering to create, communicate, and lead a strategic vision for your space.
Solve complex, highly ambiguous, and nuanced technical challenges to deliver step-level security risk reductions.
Build and evolve infrastructure platforms and automation by co-creating with engineering teams.
Mentor infrastructure security and software engineers, support their professional goals, and continuously up-level the organization’s technical bench.
What we look for in you:
At least 7 years of experience in software or development-focused security engineering.
At least 5 years of experience building controls to secure large infrastructure platforms that support thousands of developers.
An execution-focused mindset, capable of navigating through ambiguity and delivering results.
Your passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together drives you to excel in this role.
Nice to haves:
You have built security controls for runtime monitoring, confidential compute, workload isolation, and/or systems integrity.
You have worked with Golang, Docker, AWS, GCP, Terraform, and/or Artifactory.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay Range:
$211,650—$249,000 USD
